Details
Bontrager's RL is a super tire for fast training, commuting, and centuries. It features a durable, dual-compound tread for excellent traction in a variety of conditions. The risk of flatting is dramatically reduced with the bead-to-bead construction that reduces sidewall cuts, the anti-pinch ribs that reduce pinch flats, and the kevlar belt that resists punctures. In addition to all that toughness, the round profile grips like glue in corners and the lightweight, high-density casing offers a supple ride you'll love.

I finally wore the rubber off these and although I can still ride on them they need replacing.

Comments:
Was getting frequent flats (~ every 200 mi) with previous tires (Conti UltraSport, even when new) from road grit and debris getting imbedded in tires. Switched to these and haven't had a flat yet and much less (almost none) debris getting imbedded in tires. Ride is a little harder, but well worth the trade off for me to ride with confidence that I won't be flat every 200 mi; I feel much more free to venture out on 2-3 hour rides. Tread seems to be holding up well at ~1000 miles. Highly recommend if you are having similar flat issues.

Comments:
I have owned a few sets of these but don't think they are that durable. The tread is 3 pieces. The section that touches the road and 2 separate side pieces the glue failed on the center section and can be peeled completely off.

Comments:
I've had this tire on my road bike for 3 years/6000 miles. I've NEVER had a flat. Replace my back tire once due to tread starting to separate from tire. When I saw this I still road 60 mile and no flat. Very durable tire.
